Coleman Public Library Library Cards
- Who can get a card?
Library cards for patrons over 16 years of age may be obtained by filling out a user agreement in person at the library. Children under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian present in person to sign an application card.
- How to get a library card?
A patron will be issued a library card by filling out an application card provided by the library. You must provide proof of residency, driver's license or other picture ID. The patron will then be issued a library card free of charge. Lost cards will require a patron to pay a fee of one dollar for each card lost.
- Borrowing Limits:
Book's, audio books, and paperback books are checked out for a period of two weeks and may be renewed for an additional two weeks.
Videos, DVDs and Music CDs are checked out for a period of one week. **Note** There is a limit of 5 movies per household/physical address.
- Placing Holds:
The library welcomes you to place a hold on library materials that are currently checked out. To do so request this service at the circulation desk or call and ask the circulation clerk during regular library hours. Coleman Public Library - 325-625-3043.
- Library Fines:
Each patron is given a five-day grace period after which a fine of 10 cents per day, per book will be charged. Videos, CDs and DVDs will be charged $1 per day per person after the grace period.
