Calling All Patrons of the Coleman Public Library
Young and Old Near and Far
Do you realize that our library is soon going to celebrate its 125th birthday?!?
Isn't that great! On January 26, 1885, in a blinding blizzard, citizens of Coleman gathered at a meeting called by the Reverend W. B. Bloys for the purpose of forming a library association. These past 125 years have seen big changes to our library and we want to hear how the library has been a part of your life.
We are putting together a scrapbook of your letters… perhaps you visited the Mrs. J.A.B. Miller library as a child many years ago, or maybe you attended one of our recent Summer Reading Programs. Maybe you like coming in and reading the newspaper or taking advantage of all our new technology… whatever it is, we want to hear about it!
You can use the online form below or your own stationary. Bring it to the front desk or mail it to:
Coleman Public Library, 402 Commercial Ave. Coleman, Texas
Make plans to be a part of our big celebration!! Please save the date… January 26, 2010… to come and celebrate our new remodeling and 125 years of service to Coleman.
